Fortis Insurance came into being in April 2000 with the integration of Bishopsgate Insurance Ltd and Northern Star Insurance Company Limited. Both companies were well established in the insurance market and the combination provided a wider choice of products for our customers and consolidated our commitment to the intermediary channel.
