Our comments on the current flood crisis

Following the floods that have occurred this week and in the last 24 hours in Cumbria, Fortis has identified the affected customers and is proactively making contact with them through its in-house team and loss adjusters to make the necessary arrangements for alternative accommodation and to assess the damage.

The volume of calls being received by Fortis are well under control and Fortis has stringent contingency plans in place to protect and maintain its high service standards. Fortis will continue to monitor reports from the Met Office and will increase staffing levels as required to support the business through this busy period.
