Fortis (Insurance, UK) has appointed Adam Clarke as Director of Underwriting, bringing with him more than 13 years experience in the insurance industry. Adam will work with the teams responsible for Affinity and Partnership Underwriting, Commercial Underwriting and New Product Development to manage the performance and profitable development of accounts within these areas.
Adam comments: "I was attracted to Fortis because of its unique approach to insurance. Adam joins Fortis from Royal Bank of Scotland where he was the Commercial Director of home, pet and travel. Prior to this he was the Finance Director of Churchill, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland. During this time he led the development of product strategies within the household and life business unit of RBS Insurance. He started his insurance career in 1994 as a finance analyst at Prudential.
