Fortis Insurance UK is not affected in any way by the transaction between Amlin and Fortis Corporate Insurance (FCI), announced last week. FCI has been owned by the Dutch Government since October last year.
Fortis Insurance UK remains part of Fortis Insurance International within the Fortis Holding Company. The Fortis Group is an international insurance company of some scale with:
- Revenue of over EUR 14bn;
- Serving over 20 million customers; and
- Employing in excess of 10,000 people*.
